Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur

Situated on the ridge of Aravali Hills, the Nahargarh fort is also popularly known as the Tiger Fort. The fort initial shape was given by Sawai Jai Singh in 1734 that was later enlarged. Its present shape was given by Sawai Madho Singh in 1885. The edifice has nine identical suites and each one of them provide magnificent views down to the Man Sagar Lake from the windows. You'll be delighted to see the decorative motifs adorned in the rooms of Nahargarh fort. In the midst of this lake is a palatial duck blind which was used for shooting.

The fort spread to the top of the hill from where one can see the entire city of Jaipur bathed in the early morning sunrise or else enjoy the stunning sunset view over the city. The drive to the fort is also full of interesting views.
